Shakur vs. Keyshawn: A “earning money” fight? Crawford sees the PPV potential while light stars are looking for an alternative to Tank Davis

Terence Crawford says that a fight between Shakur Stevenson Léger and Keyshawn Davis is “definitely doable” despite the fact that the two are good friends. Crawford declares that it is a “sport” and can “Earning money” in a fight between them.

Large males

A fight between WBC Shakur light champion (23-0, 11 ko) and the WBO Keyshawn champion (13-0, 9 KB) would be a lot of money on PPV. They should put their brother pact aside and focus on the green they would draw.

The two were zoned, hoping for this giant Bank breakage Against Tank (30-0-1, 28 kB) to fall into their towers. This did not happen, and this is probably not the case.

Keyshawn needs this fight more than Shakur because it is already exceeded the light division and is in time borrowed. If they do not fight now at 135, it can be too late by 2026. Shakur would probably need to follow Keyshawn up 147, 154 or 160 to fight it after this year.

“I would be torn if they were fighting, but at the same time, if they were fighting, it’s a sport,” Terence Crawford told Térence Ring MagazineWhen he was asked what would be his thoughts if Shakur Stevenson and Keyshawn Davis had to fight.

“They will make money together and possibly shake hands after,” Crawford continued about a fight between Shakur and Keyshawn. “(Floyd) Mayweather and (ZAB) Judah sort of put themselves in the ring (April 8, 2006). I do not know how their relationship is compared to Shakur and Keyshawn, but it is definitely feasible and possible (for them to fight).

“(Lamont) Roach and Gervonta (Davis), I don’t know if they were friends or not, but they were from the same region. So it’s definitely doable, “said Crawford in a fight between Keyshawn and Stevenson.

Chasing Tank: an error

Shakur and Keyshawn should have seen writing on the wall a long time ago on their pursuit of Tank Davis and understood that it was hopeless. How could they be so wrong to think that he would throw them a bone to give them the fight they asked for? It was so obvious that Gervonta would never fight any of them and wondered why they were both if slow to understand.

It would be wise for Shakur to stick a rehydration clause of 10 lb in the contract to prevent Keyshawn from rehydrating at 160 during the night. He will not beat Davis if he enters the ring in the air as tall as David Benavidez in the night. Secondary weight control should be in the evening in the evening of the night to be effective, because if it is in the morning, Keyshawn could always explode before the fight.

The two continued the King of the Lightweight division, Gervonta Davis, trying to obtain a big wage confrontation against him, but their desperate feeling, the need discouraged him.

Neither has taken risks with their careers, choosing to fight Denys Berinchyk and electrician Josh Padley. It is quite obvious to what the careers of Shakur and Keyshawn are. They want this money. If the two were willing to take risks to develop their careers by fighting the best in the past two years, they would probably have obtained the fight against Tank.
