Bob Arum Eyes Brian Norman Jr. vs. “Track Star” Devin Haney in November

The promoter of Brian Norman Jr, Bob Arum, says he is looking forward to working with Turki Alashikh for the defense of Brian of his title WBO Welterweight against the “Star of the Devin Haney track” in November.

Arum knows what Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 kB) will be against in this fight, and he is doing a little in advance. What would be from music to his ears is that Turki announced that the ring would be 18 x 18 feet, which would limit the amount of place that Haney (32-0, 15 KB) should move.

Haney’s “Star Star” label explained

Many boxing fans complained about the movement that Devin used in its last fight on May 2 against Jose Ramirez in Times Square in New York. Haney withdrew all the entertainment from the fight with what people considered to be “running”. Thereafter, there was a great reaction of the fans, who criticized the whole card with a large brush due to the performance of Devin. Before this fight, Haney had not been a big mover during his career. He had been the guy who would engage with his opponents.

A theory to explain why Devin was on the run last May is the blow he suffered in his defeat against Ryan Garcia last year. He was abandoned three times by Ryan in this fight and was injured in other times. It may have removed the bravery of him, transforming him into a curled and creaky fighter that we saw exposed to Times Square.

Turki announced the Norman Jr. fight against Haney for November in Riyadh yesterday. The Undercard and PPV price has not yet been revealed. The card should be responsible for excellent fights.

Alashikh congratulated Haney on X yesterday for his desire to fight anyone. However, it was more of a soothsayer with limited options for a big salary after having missed a few fights which would have paid millions. When the fight Brian Norman Jr. was offered in Haney, he was not about to refuse him, because he should have been waiting for a long time before something else fell on his knees.

Norman Jr. against Haney: Ko Risk

Haney’s disadvantage to make this fight is the probability that he will be eliminated by Norman Jr. being beaten is bad, but losing by a brutal Knockout would put the already fragile career of Devin on the rocks.
