Who is the headlines?

Making the fight of Shakur-Zeeda seems to be the main event during the fight week, but not the night of the event, confuse the fans. They will expect this fight to be on the front page. When they see Berlanga against Sheeraz in the headliner, they will see him as a bait and switch Face and feel cheated.

July 12 card

  • Edgar Bangga vs. Hamzah Sheeraz: Main event
  • Shakur Stevenson against William Zepedia: Co-Main
  • Alberto Puello against subriel Matias
  • David Morrell against Imam Khataev

“Ring Magazine 3 on July 12 in New York City will feature co-printing events: Edgar Berlanga-Hamzah Sheeraz and Shakur Stevenson-William Zepeda. Stevenson-Zepeda will be treated as the main event during the fight week; Boxers will go last for all the festivities. The Fight Night, Berlanga and Sheeraz will close the show, ”according to Ring Magazine on Ring on the magazine in Ring On On. X.

The message from Ring magazine indicates that the event will have two co-printing events, Shakir-Zepeda and Berlanga-Sheeraz. It is not possible. No event has two co-printing events. There is only one main event, not two.

Shakur-Zeeda’s treatment strategy as the main event will upset fans who will get a false image, thinking that fight is the main event the fighting evening. They will not be delighted to see Berlanga-Sheraz as the final fight of the night.

Many fans see these two as media jobs that do not belong to a headliner position in a PPV fight. The only way that would be logical for these two to be at the forefront is if it was a non-PPV event, and if there were scrubs on the sub-card. This is not the case here.
