Bradley predicted Farmer’s Knockout: “The high hand always beats the low hand” against Schofield

Tim Bradley said he knew that Tevin Farmer was going to be eliminated as soon as his fight with Floyd Schofield began last Saturday evening in Anaheim, California.

Mortal Low Guard of the farmer

Bradley noted that the Southpaw farmer (33-9-1, 8 KB) was fighting with his head hand by his side. It is the worst thing that a fighter can do against someone at the speed of the hand and an explosive power like Schofield (19-0, 13 KB).

Farmer’s missed adjustments

Interestingly, Farmer did not adapt after being overthrown by a right hand of Schofield. He continued to fight with his head hand and was abandoned a few seconds later from a combination.

Even after the second Knockdown, Farmer had his guard and was quickly arrested after being struck with four hard and dazzling shots of Schofield. Bradley was surprised that a fighter with Farmer’s experience was fighting as he did against Schofield, 22.

“I told you about Schofield. I told you that he was going to introduce himself and that he was going to show himself. You put a cat in a corner, he was going to get out. channelSpeaking of Tevin Farmer’s error to keep his right hand by his side against Floyd Schofield.

Farmer had to see Schofield’s speed when he and his coach watched a video of his past fights. He had to feel that he would be able to deviate from his punches using the step back which had helped him in his previous fight against William Zepeda.

However, Tevin should have adjusted the first Knockdown in turn. There is no excuse for him to continue to fight with both hands by his side.

Bradley on farmer’s mistakes

“I knew that Farmer was going to be knocked out as soon as he came out. I said to myself, ”he is about to get caught. This reverse was so low.

“Easy work. And a SouthPaw is struggling to see the right hand in a loop. Easy work for this explosive speed and this tenacity of Kid Austin,” said Bradley about Farmer.

Farmer has always fought with the right by his side, and he was able to get away with his reflexes. Nor had he fought with fighters with the type of speed of the hand and explosive power that Schofield has.
