Nigel Benn said that IBF’s average weight champion William Scull left the eighth round in a combat session with Conor Benn. He says Scull was tired by the fourth round.
Nigel says that Scull (23-0, 9 KB) was too tired to go out for the eighth due to the rapid rhythm that Conor had put on turn 4. He declares that Conor increased the pace after the fourth, which made Scull quickly wear out until he chooses not to continue to get by after seven laps.
Now, it is logical to know why WBA, WBC and the middle weight champion of WBO Canelo Alvarez are so eager to fight Scull. If he fought at David Benavidez or David Morrell, this fight would probably not happen on May 3. Canelo is very strategic in whom he fights.
It is credible what Benn says about William Scull, 32, who left Conor because he looked horribly bad in his last fight against Vladimir Shishkin on October 19 in Germany, winning a controversial 12 -round decision. Many boxing fans who watched the fight had gained in force. I saw the fight and I had Shishkin winning 10-2. It was an embarrassing fight with the judges.
Given how poor Scull looks in during his last fight, which Nigel says about him to leave has meaning. If Conor Benn had been inside the ring with Scull last October instead of Shishkin, he would probably have stopped it.
“I tell you the truth. He was fighting and about five years, he said, “Oh no, I need a minute. Subsequently, about four or five years, you can ask everyone, he was sitting on the ring rope because he was a little tired, “Nigel Benn told Nigel Ifl TVSpeaking of William Scull arguing his son, Conor Benn.
“It’s about five, six and seven, he started to feel the pace. I am not telling you a lie, and about eight years, Conor put him on him. What is he doing?
