The United States has launched a wave of “decisive and powerful” air attacks on the hutis rebels in Yemen, said President Donald Trump, citing the attacks of the armed group against shipping in the Red Sea.

“Financed by Iran, the Hutis thugs have fired missiles to the US planes, and attacked our troops and allies,” Trump wrote on their social platform of truth, and added that this had cost “billions of dollars” and put lives at risk.

The Ministry of Health led by Houthi said that at least nine had been killed and nine injured in the strikes.

The group, which began to attack the shipment in response to the invasion of Israel de Gaza, told the Arab media that it would continue their attacks.
