The videos on social networks showed the passengers encouraging since the two were safely recovered by a rescue boat. They were collected after stepping on water for 10 minutes, according to witnesses.

The girl seemed to fall when her father took a photo against a railing, witnesses said. A man alert was transmitted on board on the ship and the crew hastened to recover them.

“The ship moved quickly, so fast, it is crazy how fast people became small points in the sea, and then you lost sight of them,” said passenger Laura Amador.

“The captain slowed the ship and turned it around, and then deployed a tender ship with people to go looking for them, and we saw them rescue the father and daughter,” the American couple of the BBC told CBS News.

Disney Dream, of 4,000 people, returned to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after navigating for four days around the Bahamas.

Disney confirmed in a statement that two passengers were rescued, but offered few details about what happened.

“Disney’s dream crew quickly rescued two water guests,” said a Disney Cruise Line spokesman. “We praise the members of our crew for their exceptional skills and rapid actions, which assured the safe return of both guests to the ship in a matter of minutes.

“We saw it, you could see two little things … It was crazy, it was horrible,” said Passenger Gar Frantz to NBC News, describing how the two witnessed the two to enter the ocean and almost disappear on the horizon.

The incident took place on the last day of the cruise, and the ship returned to the port in Florida as usual.

While it is rare for passengers to fall from the cruises, rescues often do not succeed when they do.

According to an International Line Cruise Association 2019 report25 people fell down that year of the cruises and only nine were saved from water.
