Floods and landslides have been informed in parts of northern Italy in the middle of red climatic alerts that affect cities, including Florence and Pisa.
The torrential rain caused the alert of parts of the Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, with a strong and persistent rain that is expected until Friday afternoon.
Toscany president said local rescue and health services were on a maximum alert and advised residents to exercise “maximum attention and caution.”
Earth landslides and landslides in Bologna were reported, where some residents were evacuated Thursday night before heavy rains during the night.
No victims were reported, and the city said the worst flood had passed at mid -morning.
