Here Is Everyone Mark Zuckerberg Has Hired So Far for Meta’s ‘Superintelligence’ Team

Mark Zuckerberg notified Meta employees to present them to the new Superintelligence team. The memo, which was wired, lists names and BIOS for the recently hired employees, many of whom came from competing AI companies such as Openaai, Anthropic and Google.

In the past few months, Meta-CEO Mark Zuckerberg has a recruitment frenzy to poach some of the most sought-after talents in the AI. The social media giant has 14.3 billion US Perform the Superintelligence Laborers from Meta. Memos news were First registered by Bloomberg.

“We will call our overall organization Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL). This includes all of our foundations, products and fair teams as well as a new laboratory that focuses on the development of the next generation of our models,” wrote Zuckerberg on Monday in the memo. Zuckerberg introduced Wang, who will be the “Chief Ai officer” of the company and the leader of MSL and the former CEO of Github, Nat Friedman. Friedman becomes the new laboratory with Wang with a focus on AI products and applied research Colead.

Here is the list of all new employees, as can be seen in Zuckerberg’s memo. In particular, it does not include the employees who were connected from Openai’s Zurich Office.

• Trapit Bansal: Pioneer RL in the chain of thoughts and cocreator of O-series models at Openal.
• Shuchao BI: Cocreator of GPT-4O language mode and O4-Mini. Previously listed multimodal after training at Openal.
• Huiwen Chang: Cocreator of the image generation of GPT-4O and previously invented maskite and muse text-to-image architectures at Google Research.
• Ji Lin: Halfed when building 03/o4-mini, GPT-4O, GPT-4.1, GPT-4.5, 40-balance and stack of operation.
• Joel Pobar: Inference at Anthropic. Previously 11 years at Meta on HHVM, Hack, Flow, Redex, Performance Tooling and machine learning.
• Jack Rae: Tech director of the Tech for Gemini and reasoning for Gemini 2.5. Gopher and Chinchilla Early LLM efforts at Deepmind.
• Hongyu ren: Cocreator from GPT-4O, 4O-Mini, O1-Mini, O3-Mini, 03 and O4-Mini. Previously, a group led after training at Openal.
• Johan Schalkwyk: Former Google Fellow, formerly involved in Sesame and technical manager for Maya.
• Pei Sun: After training, coding and argumentation for Gemini on Google Deepmind. Previously, the last two generations of Waymo -perception models.
• Jiahui Yu: Cocreator from 03, 04-mini, GPT-4.1 and GPT-4O. Previously, the perception team led to Openal and was co-Led Multimodal at Gemini.
• Shengjia Zhao: Cocreator from Chatgpt, GPT-4, all mini models, 4.1 and 03.
