On Monday, Instagram announced that the users finally expand the opportunity to hear prerequisites of songs that they shared stories from Spotify.
While Instagram has long made it possible for users to share Spotify songs for their stories, this would do so without sound and simply provide a link to the song on the streaming platform. The small change and a remarkable change makes it easier to share and discover music on the platform without having to leave the app.
The move takes place a few weeks after the social network has introduced a similar ability for Instagram notes. Users can now Stream Songs from Spotify Directly to your Instagram notes, let your followers see and check in what kind of music you are in real time.
The new functions could help position Instagram as a hub for the music discovery and to encourage people to spend more time for the app. The establishment of music functions could also make Instagram more competitive with Tikkok, which already dominates the room and influences music diagrams worldwide.
Instagram also announced on Monday that it will introduce new fonts for stories and roles this year. At the beginning, the platform stops a limited font inspired by the manuscript of the singer and songwriter Rosalía.
Users can unlock secret symbols that are drawn by Hand by Rosalía if they enter signs like “:-)”, *** “and” <3 ", says Instagram.
