According to the reports, Fran McCoffry was fired as the University of Iowa’s The male basketball chief coach on Friday after a period of 15 years directed by the program.

A few minutes after McCaffery’s dismissal was reported by multiple media, his son Connor, a former Iowa player, current coach in male basketball chief and boyfriend of Caitlin Clark, published three clown emoji in X.
Connor’s last two X X Publications were a retweet of a publication of his father reaching the 200 -winning mark in Iowa and two heart emoji in a video of his father’s emotional interview after a victory over Rutgers in February.
Connor played for Fran in Iowa for six seasons since 2017-23.

During his six seasons, Connor played in 166 games, which occupies the second place in the history of Iowa.
He arrived at the NCAA tournament in each of its full seasons, apart from its Covid season. He averaged 4.5 points and three rebounds, and played in 111 victories, drawing Jordan Bohannon for most of the history of the program. Its professional assistance ratio of 3.59 (527 assists to 147 ball losses) is the second best in the history of the NCAA.

Iowa is also where Connor met Clark When he starred in the women’s team between 2020 and 24. The couple began to leave in April 2023 after Clark led Iowa in a race to the game for the title of the NCAA. Connor was a last year student at that time and began his career as a coach after graduating.
