Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i (14 Inch, Gen 10) Review: Hidden Webcam

God help us There are so many Lenovo Yoga Laptops now out there. There is that Yoga 9iThe Yoga Pro 9i, the Yoga book 9iAnd now these newcomers – the Yoga Slim 9i. So much yoga. So much 9i. If you can’t keep you all, comfort you the fact that I can’t do it either.

The necessity of the Slim 9i is that it is intended as a Premiere offer In this line -upincluding a hip design, Copilot+ PC functionsAnd a function that the webcam hides behind the LCD with the Coud technology (Camera UNDER display). (This is not the first time that we saw it – zte in particular had a phone A few years ago with a similarly hidden selfie camera.)

Blue -green shimmer

Before I browse deeper into this camera trick, we talk about the rest of the package. Although it is largely made of aluminum, the cover of the 14-inch laptop is made of highly reflective shimmering glass in a color of “Tidal Teal”. It is striking, but is too striking for some, which is why Glader lid probably went out of fashion a few years ago.

In every corner curvy and the only sharp edges you can find on the device, where this glass lid comes to an end. And while this laptop has no notch for its webcam, the back of the cover in which this webcam is located is an extinguishing. As such, it is not as “under the display” as “Behind the Display”, an important distinction that creates a very guty design that they are probably either loving or hate. Lenovo has always been known for his input experience, and the Slim 9i 14 offers one of the best I have seen, with a spacious keyboard layout from edges to edges and buttons with excellent reaction ability, on a surprisingly small trackpad. I prefer this smaller trackpad design, but users who are more used to enormous ice rinks for their fingertips may be restrictive. Five “fast keys” on the right side of the keyboard offer easy access to various electricity and audio modes, a fingerprint reader and other extras.
