Pakistan’s army says 300 hostages released from the train

Pakistan’s army says he has released more than 300 hostages from a passenger train seized by militants in Baluchistan province on Tuesday.

The military spokesman said that 33 militants were killed during the operation.

Twenty -one civil hostages and four military personnel were killed by the Liberation Army of Baloch (Bla) before the operation began, said the military spokesman.

The Army continues its search operation in the area to rule out the remaining threats.

The Pakistani authorities, as well as several Western countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States, have designated Bla as a terrorist organization.

The Bla is one of the rebel groups that demands greater autonomy or independence for Baluchistan, the largest province of Pakistan.

They accuse Islamabad of exploiting the rich mineral resources of the province while neglecting him. In the past, they have attacked military camps, railway stations and trains, but this is the first time they kidnap a train.

At least 100 of those on the train were members of the security forces, authorities said.
