Nevertheless, the performance is still admirable compared to most travel builders, provided that they do not let their hair grow out for too long. As with many foil winemakers, the bow 5 does not cut longer than a few millimeters. Shave longer mustache requires a large number of passports – and will almost certainly stimulate a few painful hair. The ARC 5 is a decent, clean razor for those who are already neat and clean.

The ARC 5 is also not a detailed razor. This is a binding -free device that does what it does: it generally corresponds to a large surface of your face and neck. If you are someone with a beard line or a firmly maintained geometry on your sideburn or mustache, this razor does not serve you as a daily driver without a separate detail.

But the lack of sharp edges of the razor can also be virtue. The ARC 5 Palm is so secured, so angular, so mushy in shaving, that I feel comfortable to use it in the shower without a mirror. (If you are the kind of person who holds a mirror in the shower, no insult, but I don’t understand.) Heck, I think I may even feel okay while walking.

But now we are closing the circle why, despite its tight application cases and the medium -difficult shave and the high price, I still like the white sheet 5 palm. I just enjoy how it feels in my hand. Enjoyment is a vanishingly rare quality in jerking.

“Nagori”, the name of the new material of Mitsui chemicals, which delivers the strange organic texture of ARC 5, is the kind of word that people often like to describe it. Nagori refers to a kind of instant nostalgia that you could feel for a season when passing or for the last course of a meal. It comes from an old Japanese edition, “The remains of the waves”, with the mussels and the traces left behind when the tide goes back where it comes from.

The name of this material with a lot of certainty comes from the marine minerals, which form the basis for this. But it also describes the feeling that I got when I got the razor out of his packaging: an inconspicuous nostalgia for an object that is here in my hand. Over time, this feeling becomes boring. The slightly detailed plastic of the bow 5 seems like something beautiful plastic.

But at the moment I was able to have a little emotional experience with my travel protector. Whether this feeling is worth 300 US dollars is between you and your accountant.
