Ryan Garcia and Oscar de la Hoya looked comfortable a few weeks ago – it’s now that everything is a public game and courtyard. Once the Golden-Garçon and Rose boxing relationship, their partnership has exploded dramatically, leaving the fans nibble on the last social-media grenade launched by the 26-year-old “Kingry”.

Garcia’s shock loss against Rolando Romero opened old wounds after their Davis debacle in 2023. Instead of rebuilding, he discharged his promoter as a bomb in the basement. His messages are not only unprofessional – they are pure toxicity.

And because a rant was not enough, he added:

Oscar de la Hoya could have ignored Garcia circus. Instead, he chose public execution. He disclosed the screen screenshot above with one side of the psychiatric diagnosis:

“Unfortunately, Ryan Garcia has another episode. Ten days ago, he talks about God and finds his way, then this evening, he sends me this rant while looking at his colleagues from Golden Boy. Bipolar disorder is very serious and I hope he gets the help he needs.”

End of game for both sides?

Let us not forget what led to this explosion. After Garcia’s direct loss to Garcia against Gervonta Davis, he accused Oscar of having abandoned him. Of the Hoya retred up, questioning the professionalism of Ryan. Lawyers were involved. De la Hoya continued Garcia for breach of contract. Garcia demanded mediation, claiming defamation. Then another trial said he had simulated an injury to dodge an exhibition in Japan.

Now Oscar quietly directs Garcia’s trajectory – blocking a revenge match by Haney, growing Romero again to rebuild his stock – but everything fractures. The man who formerly guarantees dodges now a fighter who thinks he is greater than the brand. And Ryan? He attacks the company itself which gave him a chance, acting as a spoiled kid who forgot that it is always boxing – where respect goes two ways.
