UK and France to work with Ukraine on peace plan

Prime Minister Sir Kerr Starmer said on Sunday that Ukraine will work with Europe to develop a plan to “stop fighting” with Russia before submitting a plan for peace to US President Donald Trump.

CurtainSpeaking to the BBC: “We have agreed that the United Kingdom, along with France and perhaps one or two others, will work with Ukraine on a plan to stop the fighting. Then we will discuss this plan with the United States.”

Speaking of the London summit of European leaders, Starmer said that the “European Alliance for those wishing” – led by the United Kingdom and France – will then be offered to put the forces on the ground in Ukraine To defend any ceasefire.
